I write about gastronomy to better understand the world around us and help others do the same — with context, discernment and calm. In an environment saturated with quick recommendations, I aim to create texts that add genuine value and build a deeper relationship with the reader.

Materia Prima is my main editorial project: a digital gastronomy magazine based in Gran Canaria that tells stories about food through features, interviews and chronicles connecting gastronomy with culture, science, design or history. Each piece aims to inform, entertain and offer the reader a useful, thoughtful perspective.
As editor, my job is to shape other people's stories while respecting their essence, and to find ways to reach a wider audience with the greatest sensitivity and clarity.
Materia Prima is aimed at people who want more than recommendations: professionals in the food and cultural sectors, curious readers and brands looking to connect with people.
Materia Prima is also a space for collaboration with companies, institutions and projects seeking to build a relationship with a qualified community.
Cuadernos en Crudo is my weekly newsletter: a more personal space I write from my desk. No rigid structure, no pressure, no filters.
Subscription content designed to be read from your inbox, coffee in hand. Here I share what I'm reading, trying or thinking about: recommendations and small observations.
