I'm Bea Miranda, a food writer trained at the Basque Culinary Center.
My work focuses on analysing gastronomy beyond the plate: understanding what lies behind products, restaurants and the decisions we make as consumers.
I write from the Canary Islands with a contemporary and international perspective, moving away from traditional culinary criticism and fast content.
I edit and lead several editorial projects aimed at entertaining and informing.
Publications
I'm the editor of Materia Prima, a digital magazine about gastronomy, culture and lifestyle featuring long-form pieces, interviews and recipes.
Cuadernos en Crudo is my personal newsletter: a weekly letter, intimate and full of stories from life as a food journalist — with plenty of humour.
